#201
That's how I've been wishing most of my family and friends this year. After all, why not? My ultimate goals in 2021 were happiness and inner peace. Along with these two, my additional 2022 goals include self-care and more writing than done in 2021.
Happiness constitutes a lot of factors. For instance, it includes not getting upset over trivial things in one's day-to-day life. It includes remaining calm and collected even in stressful times, whether at work or home, handling things with aplomb and nonchalance and of course, learning to look at the bright side of things.
One of the books that I like to keep revisiting is Gretchen Rubin's The Happiness Project. Akin to a cheatsheet, I have my own set of flashcards I like to re-read from time to time, containing fun, meaningful quotes from the book. One of my favourites is 'make your own kind of fun.' From doodling to singing along to T-Swift to dancing while waiting for the dosa to cook, I've learnt to enjoy every little thing, no matter what it is.
Celebrate the little wins.
Find reasons to be happy and happier.
Deal with issues one by one, bird by bird.
Wishing you the happiest new year!
Whoa how did i miss this post! So apt...so crisp to the point.
