We visited Denver, Colorado to experience Tamil comedian Alex Babu’s second full-length show called Alexperience, the first being ‘Alex in Wonderland’. This too was intertwined with musical gems sung by Alex playing several instruments simultaneously.
The show touched upon funny and serious, light-hearted and difficult topics, and segued from singing to dancing to theatrics, all packed into a 3-hour-40-minute-long show.
Overall, the experience was exhilarating, and the show ended with most of the audience giving a standing ovation and applauding for what felt like almost a minute.
The show was held at the Newman Center of Arts.
Apart from this being the highlight of the trip, we also roamed around Colorado Springs - Garden of the Gods, Rocky Mountains, Loveland pass (almost 12,000 feet elevation), and Red Rocks Amphitheatre, a few of the must-visit places here in this mountainous, snowy region.
Sounds like quite a trip.
